About The Mary Kerubo foundation
Inspired by Mary we move forward to save lives
The Mary Kerubo Foundation was established to honor the legacy of Mary Kerubo, a compassionate woman known for her generosity and community support. At just 33 years old, Mary tragically passed away due to a heart-related condition while in class. Her sudden loss, despite not being obese or showing obvious risk factors, highlights the reality that heart disease can affect anyone, regardless of appearance or age. In response, the foundation is committed to raising awareness, promoting early detection, and empowering communities with life-saving education on heart health. Our initiatives include awareness campaigns, free screenings, CPR training, and advocacy. A key component of our outreach is organizing awareness walks to engage communities, encourage active lifestyles, and emphasize heart health education. Through partnerships with medical institutions, corporate sponsors, government agencies, and community organizations, the foundation aims to create sustainable change in cardiovascular health awareness and prevention. This strategic plan outlines our objectives and action plan for 2025–2027, focusing on public education, medical outreach, capacity building, and sustainable funding strategies.
