The MKF Heart Awareness Walk

About the Event

The Mary Kerubo Foundation invites you to partner with us for the Mary Kerubo Heart Awareness Walk, taking place on World Heart Day. This walk is aimed at raising awareness about heart disease, promoting heart-healthy lifestyles, and honoring the legacy of Mary Kerubo, who passed away at just 33 years old while in class due to a heart-related condition. Through this event, we seek to educate the community on the importance of heart health, prevention, and early detection. We are looking for partners who share our commitment to promoting heart health and supporting community welfare.

Objectives of the walk
Raise Awareness: Educate the public on heart disease, prevention, and the importance of early detection.
Promote Healthy Living: Encourage physical activity and heart-healthy habits.
Provide Education: Offer heart health resources, CPR training, and free screenings.
Honor Mary Kerubo’s Legacy: Continue her mission of selflessness and community service by tackling a significant public health issue.

We also welcome in-kind contributions, including donations of:
T-shirts and Caps: For volunteers and participants to promote the event and increase visibility.
Heart Health Resources: Educational materials such as brochures, pamphlets, and heart health kits.
